I had to replace my outdoor swing because the wood seat had rotted out within a few years. I recently purchased HDPE tall Adirondack chairs for our dock and absolutely love them. Decided to replace the swing with the same HDPE material and I am not disappointed. Ecstatic! This swing is awesome. It has the same design as the previous wood swing but now I doubt I'll ever have to replace it again. The quality of this is excellent, the instructions were easy to follow, and all pieces came easily labeled. It definitely takes two people to put together, it is heavy, but that means it's solid and will withstand Florida sun and elements. The chains provided are top quality with the C clasp to help adjust. It took a little figuring on the chains, and we ended up using 4 sections instead of all 6 but we hung it without any difficulties and we love it. The cost to me was around the same as I would have spent to replace with another wooden swing, therefore, I purchased this without hesitation. I looked at several other composite swings out there and they were ridiculously priced around $800 - NO WAY! This purchase from Amazon is 5 star all the way!
