I love this pot, it’s more expensive than Walmart pans, but much less expensive than “waterless” cookware. It wasn’t supposed to be waterless but it’s very similar to my sister’s waterless cookware. It is very heavy but it cooks with less heat and the lid prevents rice and potatoes from bubbling over, less mess!
This is really worth the money! The bottom are very solid. the whole pot is heavy, which means the layers would be as described! There is a extra small handle, which is very convenient to hold to lift up. Most of the pots are only one big handle. When the pot is filled with food, it is heavy and it is not save to use only one handle.the lid is also designed well that the lid is heavy, and the edge is deep enough to prevent the heat to splash around the stove top. Recommend to buy!
I will never buy another 3qt pan, this is exactly what you need, it’s the right size. And this is super sturdy. Heavy, will good conduction
I've had the 4qt version for about a year and a half and it's been a workhorse, I probably use it 4 - 5 nights a week and it's still in great shape. The pan overall is heavy with sides of a decent thickness and a heavy bottom. It seems to distribute heat well and it retains heat for a good amount of time after I turn off the burner.I can't compare this to all clad or any other expensive brand because I don't own them, but it's a 4 qt sauce pan, I can't imagine what else I'd need it to do that would justify spending more money.
It's such a nice pot, wow, and for the price amazing. I have serious top quality cookware, and this fits right in. The handle looks great, stays cool and also pours wonderfully, and that's huge. They have obviously put a lot of thought and engineering into it. I also love the measure on the inside. And yes, it is a "legitimate" 4 QT pot! I measured and poured in a full gallon (4 quarts) of water. It came right up to the bottom of the pouring lip, as it should be. (picture below). Thanks for a great product! Get one and make yourself happy!
